Assistance dog

This is a dog that is selected and trained in a personalised process in order to assist a person with a disability. There are assistance dogs for physical disability (service dogs), for ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder), for hearing disability (hearing dogs), for visual disability (guide dogs) and medical response dogs (diabetes, epilepsy, etc.)

Their work goes far beyond carrying out the function for which they were trained, as they become an important aid both for the person with a disability and their family.
